International visitors arriving at Liszt Ferenc Airport in Budapest can get to P\u00e9cs using the motorway in a little more than 2 hours. Freight transport is also possible by inland waterways due to the proximity of the port in Moh\u00e1cs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:80px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/app\/uploads\/2021\/08\/7189-200-1.png\" alt=\"7189 200 1\" class=\"wp-image-2016\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p><strong>Main road, motorway<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Motorway M6\/M60<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>P\u00e9cs is directly connected to Budapest by motorway M6\/M60; therefore, Budapest can be reached by car using this motorway in 2 hours and 15 minutes where the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) can be accessed. The motorway provides access to Moh\u00e1cs, Szeksz\u00e1rd, Paks, and Duna\u00fajv\u00e1ros, and Sz\u00e9kesfeh\u00e9rv\u00e1r can also be accessed quickly taking a little detour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-outline is-style-outline--1\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"https:\/\/e-autopalyamatrica.hu\/en\/kosar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Purchasing vignette (motorway stickers)<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5>&nbsp;<\/h5>\n<p><strong>Main road 6<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Main road 6 goes through P\u00e9cs towards Budapest in the North providing an alternative to motorway M6\/M60 and towards Szigetv\u00e1r and Barcs in the West.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Main roads 66\/67<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These roads provide access to P\u00e9cs from Kaposv\u00e1r and Lake Balaton. From Balatonlelle, main road 67 goes through Kaposv\u00e1r and Szigetv\u00e1r and joins main road 6 leading to P\u00e9cs. Main road 66 directly connects P\u00e9cs and Kaposv\u00e1r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Main road 57<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The road connecting P\u00e9cs and Moh\u00e1cs is frequently used to transport the cargo shipped to Moh\u00e1cs on River Danube. Motorway M6\/M60 can be accessed from main road 57.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Border crossing points<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the proximity of P\u00e9cs on the Southern border, there are three important border crossing points to Croatia:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>using main road 6 to the West \u2013 in Barcs<\/li>\n<li>using main road 58 to the South \u2013 in Dr\u00e1vaszabolcs<\/li>\n<li>using main road 57 to Moh\u00e1cs, then turning South to main road 56 towards Udvar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/app\/uploads\/2021\/08\/3130184-200.png\" alt=\"3130184 200\" class=\"wp-image-2024\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p><strong>Railway<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>P\u00e9cs and Budapest are connected by InterCity passenger trains.
