Tüskésrét is a southern district of Pécs, located in the greenery between the public cemetery of Pécs and the thermal power plant. It is best to visit it by car, the local bus or maybe by bicycle from the city centre or other districts of the city.

Tüskésrét provides an excellent opportunity for some recreation in nature, as it has amazing flora and fauna, and its lookout found on the educational trail has a marvellous panorama. There is also a lake and a leisure park, the latter of which even has a wakeboard and a running track.
