In recent years, the Zsolnay Festival of Lights has become a highlight of Pécs’ programme, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors, and this is expected to continue in 2025.

In addition, the date of the country’s first and only light festival has already been set:

From 3 to 6 July 2025, the streets and iconic buildings of Pécs will be illuminated for the ninth time.

The 4-day festival will offer unforgettable experiences in the Mediterranean downtown of Pécs, with an international light painting competition, about 20 creations of the Way of Light, a unique fire juggling venue, a special street art and music programme!
