The Serbian Local Council of Pécs represents the Serbian community living in and around Pécs, which is currently small in number but all the more enthusiastic for it. Its aim, and indeed its task, is to strengthen the sense of belonging and identity of the Serbian community living here by nurturing traditions, preserving culture and practising their faith. The local council endeavours to provide every possible support for this by organising programmes and events.
