Cappella Quinqueecclesiensis

The choir was established on 1 October 2014, on the International Music Day, in Pécs that has a long history of choral singing.

The name of the choir refers to the city and their repertoire of classical pieces and sophisticated performances. As a result of their hard work, they wish to bring to the Hungarian and international audiences pieces from the long history of European choral tradition, thus promoting the historical, cultural, and musical, in particular choral musical, heritage of Pécs.

The choir has been a registered member of KÓTA (Association of Hungarian Choirs and Orchestras) since 2015.
