The Pécs Tourist Information Centre, Pécs Pont, welcomes visitors in the heart of the city. The modern, multifunctional space is equipped with a tourist information office, a café, a gift shop, luggage storage and public toilets. The wheelchair-accessible, barrier-free site is staffed by a team of professionals who provide the widest range of information to visitors and local guests.

The gift shop offers a unique and rich selection to ensure that you return home with fond memories of your visit to Pécs.

Janus Pannonius Museum Gift Shop

Several of the museum’s permanent exhibitions have a shop offering various souvenirs and gifts.

At the Csontváry exhibition (Janus Pannonius u. 11.), visitors can buy items (e.g. mugs, fridge magnets, key chains, scarves, eyeglass cleaners), postcards, publications (books, albums, notebooks) and reproductions (watercolour, canvas) of the most famous works by the painter.

At the Vasarely exhibition (Káptalan u. 3.), one can browse a selection of posters (in several sizes), postcards, items (e.g. mugs, fridge magnets, key chains, scarves, eyeglass cleaners, T-shirts, business card holders, candlesticks), publications and jewellery, based on famous works of Victor Vasarely.

At the Zsolnay exhibition (Káptalan u. 2.), available gifts include various pieces of jewellery, as well as mugs, dishes and statuettes featuring Zsolnay motives.

Masks designed with all three themes are available in the shops too.

Bishopric of Pécs

The offer of the Bishopric of Pécs includes souvenirs, religious objects, jewellery and conference products related to Pécs and the sites of the Pécs Bishopric (Cathedral, Mosque, Bishop’s Palace, Episcopal Treasury, Dom Lapidarium), which are mainly made by local craftsmen and artists, using the motifs of the sites.

University life

University of Pécs merchandise is available for purchase in the souvenir shop and campus store of the faculties.

Zsolnay Cultural Quarter

To serve the needs of visitors, Zsolnay Örökségkezelő NKft. and Zsolnay Porcelánmanufaktúra Zrt. built a complex service centre in the Zsolnay Quarter, where people can get information, buy tickets, purchase Zsolnay products and browse the most beautiful gifts and jewellery all in one place.

The shop found in the Street of Artisan Shops sells the product range of the Zsolnay Outlet, including their well-known coffee, tea, pastry, sandwich and tableware sets. You can also buy plates, coffee mugs or teacups, saucers, stew or salad bowls, trays and cake servers separately. There are decorative plaques, jewellery and various ornamental articles made with eosin, porcelain and pyrogranite techniques in the selection too.

The North Info Point of Zsolnay Quarter moved to this location, so visitors can get information on what the Zsolnay Cultural District has to offer, buy tickets for tourist attractions and programmes, and browse the merchandise of the Zsolnay Heritage Management company.

• By presenting a valid residence card, every resident of Pécs can purchase Zsolnay porcelain with a 10 % discount.
• Visitors holding tickets for ZSolnay Cultural Quarter exhibitions can enjoy a 5 % discount in the shop.
• You get 1+1 complimentary tickets with purchases of over HUF 50,000, which can be used to visit exhibitions of the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter and World Heritage Sites until the end of the year.

Cella Septichora, Early Christian Mausoleum – UNESCO World Heritage

The Cella Septichora Visitor Centre and the Early Christian Mausoleum offers a wide selection of souvenirs connected to the World Heritage Sites of Pécs and the city itself.

Take home what you have learned in the form of publications, brochures, and foreign language guides! Send a postcard to distant relatives and friends! Gift jewellery to your loved ones! Surprise the kids with some great toys! Preserve the memory of the place by keeping a ceramic, wood or glass souvenir!

Most of the gifts sold are special products made by craftsmen living in Pécs or its surroundings.

Misina Tetőpont – Infopoint and souvenir shop

A selection of hiking products, Mecsek and Pécs-themed souvenirs, brochures, children’s toys in a picturesque setting at the foot of the TV tower. As well as souvenirs, you can buy tickets to the city’s attractions and find out about the area’s self-guided and guided hiking trails, the site offers practical help and inspiration for a close-to-nature experience.
