Tettye Restaurant is found in Pécs on the South side of Mecsek, in a picturesque setting. The name shared by the district and the restaurant originates from the 16th–17th century when Muslim monks used the episcopal summer palace found here as a monastery (“tekke”).
Guests have been cordially welcomed here by the Meszler family since 1986. Their rich menu consists of light dishes of fish, poultry served with crunchy vegetables and velvety sauces with cream, hearty Hungarian stews, skewers and Swabian specialities such as Swabian casserole, venison ragout soup and filled pork rolls. Its shaded, flowery garden with a capacity of 250 and its refurbished, air-conditioned restaurant with a capacity of 120 can be booked for weddings, family occasions, banquets, company and other events. There is free parking available on the street.
