Malomvölgy consists of approximately 380 hectares of forest, 90 hectares of recreational area and 23 hectares of water. This natural reserve is found South of the city, at about 2 km distance. This hiking place can be easily reached on foot, by bicycle, and bus or car. The lake system of Malomvölgy Botanic Garden is a popular fishing spot, and the beautiful forest is a well-loved hiking destination. A few kilometres long network of hiking trails surrounds the lakes, along which visitors will find playgrounds, football fields, drinking fountains and fire pits.
