After a year’s hiatus, the Tour de Hongrie peloton will once again roll into Pécs in 2026. The cyclists will shake up the area again during the fourth stage on May 16. There is no question why the 100-year-old Hungarian cycling race is returning to our town.
“When it comes to our city, the peloton, the organizers and the sponsors all notice that people hang out in clusters on the streets of Pécs. Locals who have been part of this miracle have seen the crazy demand and interest in the Tour de Hongrie. What is really interesting is that as the professional cyclists race by, they also sense this support. Our city has stolen their hearts.
