In the city of Pécs, ten pharmacies take turns providing an on-call service on a weekly basis, from closing time on Monday until opening time the following Monday. In addition, at weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and on public holidays falling on weekdays, further pharmacies provide a second on-call service.

On weekdays and at weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), the on-call period runs from 5.00 pm – or from closing time if the pharmacy closes later – until opening the following morning, or until 8.00 am. If a public holiday falls within the on-call week, both on-call pharmacies will be on duty from 8.00 am until opening time the following morning.
