E78 – Whatever the chimney can take

E78 (named after the original sign of the building from the time of the Zsolnay family) is a truly multipurpose house. Its programmes include concerts, theatrical and educational performances, dance house events, children’s activities, film screenings, exhibitions and many family programmes. From spring to autumn, Pirogránit Courtyard next to it hosts festivals, open-air gigs and fantastic parties for young and old.

The building opening from the Pirogránit Courtyard of the Zsolnay Cultural District is the union of past and future. The event venue built in the place of the pyrogranite firing hall that used to stand here is truly special not only in the programmes it offers but also in the way its architecture brings together modern and industrial heritage buildings.
