There are two kinds of parents living in Pécs: those who know HOPPLA, and those who will learn about this famous bunny of Pécs sometime when their child is between 3–6 years old.
The city is full of amazing spots that should be checked out by everyone personally. Let us show you a few interesting stops of the real “hoppla path”, which can provide meaningful entertainment any time on any day to the whole family.
Here is some help to find your way easier 😊
Zsolnay Cultural Quarter, Bóbita Puppet Theatre. A pleasant green area, with a super playground according to the kids, exciting performances and delicious cakes (with great coffee according to the mums!).
On the way back from the Zsolnay Quarter we can try everyone’s favourite, the sightseeing train. But don’t be surprised if the hamster doesn’t drive it this time.
Once in the city centre, it’s definitely worth stopping by the magnificent Cathedral, the Széchenyi Square on Káptalan Street, the Mosque, which is a slice of history with a touch of science and culture.
Tettye Square ruins, Pintér Garden: special flowers, even more special statues in the shade of huge trees. The ruins themselves hold many secrets for every child, the most exciting ‘playground’ of them all.
Dear Parents, can you take a break after the playground? Visit the Tüke Wine House, where you can relax with a glass of delicious Pécs white wine, or a delicious meal or coffee.
