The Gallery considers it an important part of its remit to showcase and raise awareness of trends and possibilities in contemporary architecture, alongside traditional art forms. In December 2010, the institution expanded with a new venue: the 1,000-square-metre m21 gallery opened in the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter.
