Pintér Garden Arboretum – Pécs
The arboretum takes its name from its founder, Pécs bank clerk János Pintér, who began planting in 1926 in the grounds of his villa, situated right next to the popular excursion site of Tettye. He created a sentimental landscape garden featuring predominantly evergreen plants, an artificial castle ruin, a wooden pavilion, two water basins, and several sculptures.
