Strauss Metal Limited Liability Company (Kft.), founded in 1991, is 100% Hungarian owned. The company’s registered factory is in Pécs where highly qualified engineers are continuously working to meet the changing demands of the market. The company is a market leader in Hungary in the sector, and its products are 100% designed and made by Hungarians in Hungary. High quality and effective production technologies are ensured by using modern CAD/CAM machinery in the production facility. The professionalism of the factory’s activities is guaranteed by the state-of-the-art expertise and experience of its employees and the responsible leadership of its management. The company employs 40 people living in or in the proximity of Pécs. The company’s production profile is versatile including designing, manufacturing, and implementing products in the field of bank and company security, and cash handling, as well as educational, counselling, transportation, and maintenance services related to those. Apart from manufacturing traditional safes, it develops and manufactures ATMs, public address systems, and armoured trucks.

Its continuous development is demonstrated by its involvement in the Ancient-Dráva Project and by producing the bicycle docking stations used in local bicycle transport.

It offers a two-year warranty on its products. It regularly participates as an exhibitor in security and safety technologies fairs and exhibitions (e.g. in Budapest, Zagreb, Bucharest, Cologne, Nuremberg, and Pécs). The company’s products have received numerous prizes and awards (e.g. Nova safe was the security product of the year in 2002 and received the special prize at Pécs Expo in 2006; Multisafe was the prize winner of the Hungarian Design Project in 2007). An entry in the Pécs Lexicon is devoted to the safe manufactured by Strauss Metal.
