Kodály Centre

Kodály Centre

Kodály Centre is one of the most important institutions of Pécs and the largest capacity multi-purpose concert venue and conference centre of the South Transdanubian region. The establishment, built in 2010, is home to the Pannon Philharmonic Orchestra.

It was named after Zoltán Kodály, three times Kodály Prize winner Hungarian composer, musicologist, music educator and ethnomusicologist. At the time the building was opened, Pécs was the European Capital of Culture. It is operated by Zsolnay Örökségkezelő NKft.

The venue has fantastic acoustics, technical solutions and immersive spaces, and lends its stage to classical, popular, jazz and folk performances alike.
